Why non-prorated matters / Year 10 = Year 1

Most LED warranties are prorated — by year 5, the manufacturer pays a fraction of the replacement cost, and by year 8, almost nothing. A "10-year warranty" that pays 10% in year 9 isn't a warranty; it's a marketing number.

EcoLite's warranty is non-prorated. If a driver fails in year 9, you get a new driver at no cost. If an LED array degrades beyond spec in year 8, you get a replacement. The coverage doesn't decay — because the product shouldn't either.

This is backed by $200M+ in US warehouse stock. When something needs replacing, the part is already on the shelf — not on a boat from overseas.

Claims process / How it works

    Contact your provider — the rep or distributor who supplied the fixtures. They initiate the claim with EcoLite.

    Provide the fixture model and serial — found on the fixture label or in your project documentation.
  3. 03
    Replacement ships from US stock — typically within 24-48 hours from the nearest warehouse (Baton Rouge, Bradenton, or Dallas).
  4. 04
    Full replacement at no cost — no deductible, no pro-rata, no depreciation. Year 1 or Year 10, same deal.
